Batman: Arkham Knight Brings the Series to its Epic Finale
Next year, Rocksteady Studios’ gritty Arkham saga will reach its epic conclusion once Batman: Arkham Knight arrives on PC.
In an exclusive interview with GeForce.com, Zafer Coban, Lead Animator on Batman: Arkham Knight, discusses the sequel's slew of new features, the introduction of the Batmobile and how the game is being developed from the ground up to take advantage of next-generation gaming technology.
“Players will realize that we’ve gone from destroying Arkham City to rebuilding it from square one for Arkham Knight,” said Coban.
According to Rocksteady, the new game’s sprawling world is 20 times larger than Batman: Arkham Asylum. Featuring impressively detailed architecture and an array of citizens—including super villains like Scarecrow and the mysterious Arkham Knight—Gotham City has never looked more alive.
Coban promised that there are plenty of other surprises in store for gamers before Arkham Knight's release, too.
“Players will just have to wait and see what happens and what we reveal,” he said. “We cannot wait.”
