The massive E3 2011 gaming conference at the L.A. Staples Center is fully underway, so I thought you’d appreciate a quick recap of yesterday’s goings on from the showfloor. As a die-hard gamer, it is really hard not to stop and drool at all the shiny things on display. The gaming industry’s biggest players are all on hand to showcase the latest gaming titles and technology, and having attended most major gaming shows I’d say the biggest difference between E3 and all the others is the level of event production quality that is put into the booths and show experience.

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to line up interviews with the Lead Artist for BioShock Infinite and the Executive Producer for Metro: Last Light, the sequel to the system-destroying DirectX 11 showcase, Metro 2033. Not only are both games gorgeous, they both integrate the latest graphics technology and push that tech to the limit.

This E3 has been especially rewarding as I’ve been able to hang out and film video with none other than HuskyStarcraft, who will soon be casting GeForce.com’s StarCraft 2 tournament with another world famous caster, Day 9. Thanks to his love of games and sense of humor, covering this event has been huge fun, so be sure to check out the video below to see Husky and the aforementioned interviews.

Stay tuned to GeForce.com, Twitter and Facebook for more E3 fun in the days to come.
