Gamescom 2011: Firefall Video Interview

August 18, 2011

By Jimmy Thang

GeForce.com's Andy Burnes got the opportunity to speak to Red 5 Studios' David Williams on the Gamescom show floor to discuss Firefall. The promising free-to-play team-based shooter features a stylized cel-shaded look. What separates the game from most shooters is that it features both first-person and third-person views.

In the video interview, Williams discusses Firefall's heavy emphasis on movement-based gameplay (and compares it to the Tribes games), different modes, unique class system, and more.

The game was seen running smoothly on the Gamescom show floor equipped with a GeForce GTX 560. Gamers will be able to see how well their graphics cards run Firefall when it launches this December.
