The main event of the DOTA2 Shanghai Major will be held from March 2 to 6, 2016 at the Mercedes Benz Arena in Shanghai, China. Sixteen of the world's top DOTA2 teams will battle for the honor of being crowned champions in the inaugural Shanghai Major, and for a total prize pool of US$3 million.

To ensure that all players will perform at the peak of their game and enjoy the ultimate gaming experience, the organizers have chosen the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980Ti graphics card for the game machines. As DOTA2 players become increasingly demanding in their requirements for the game’s screen resolution, fluency and stability, NVIDIA has specifically designed the GeForce GTX 900 series of graphics cards to be the preferred choice for eSports players that fulfill the usage intensity required by DOTA2 for 2k and even 4K resolution. Similarly, a gaming PC that comes equipped with the GeForce GTX 980Ti module is now the benchmark for professional gamers.

NVIDIA offers its best wishes to the world’s top players at this event, and hopes that these elite gamers will be able to demonstrate their skills, obtain excellent results, and present a most dazzling tournament for the world's many gaming enthusiasts. Come March 2, let’s meet in Shanghai!
