The Battlefield 3 beta will begin tomorrow for pre-order customers and Medal of Honor owners, and on the 29th for everyone else. To get the most out of the beta you’ll need to download our new GeForce 285.38 beta drivers (Win7 32-bit, Win 7 64-bit) that increase performance in the Battlefield 3 beta by up to 38% compared to the 285.27 drivers. In addition, our Battlefield 3 SLI profile has been updated, allowing you to get the absolute best performance from your multi-GPU machine.
If you’re unsure if your graphics card can run the Battlefield 3 beta adequately be sure to try out NVIDIA’s one-click GPU Analyzer. It will let you know whether your GPU meets the recommended specification for the game and offer helpful upgrade suggestions in case you don’t.
The 285.38 beta drivers are also the ones to get if you’re planning to play id Software’s Rage next month. The long-awaited game is the first new intellectual property from id Software in many years and marks an evolution of the studio’s design style, previously having made linear ‘corridor shooters.’ With fantastic graphics, a lengthy storyline, co-op, and multiplayer, Rage is a feature-packed release that offers fantastic value in a time of ever-shorter games.
The 285.38 beta drivers also include updated SLI profiles for Batman: Arkham City, Dead Island, Dragon Age II, and new profiles for Diablo III, Need For Speed: The Run, and Saints Row: The Third.
