Blizzard Confirms “Titan” MMO

After much speculation, Blizzard has confirmed that it is working on a new massively-multiplayer online game called “Titan.” Rumors began to abound as soon as the California-based game developer started putting up

Furthering this rumor was a supposed Blizzard release launch “leak.” According to the leak, Titan is scheduled to release towards the end of 2013. Regardless of whether or not these figures are accurate, Blizzard senior VP and executive producer of World of Warcraft did confirm the existence of the MMO at this year’s Video Game Awards in Los Angeles, CA.

When asked to comment on the title, Pearce said, “[the] media is not supposed to know about that. It’s our next-gen MMO.” He added, “We’ve only started talking about it in a limited fashion because we want to leverage the fact that we’re working on something like that for the purpose of recruiting, getting some of the best talent in the industry for that project.”

There is no word on whether this will be an entirely new intellectual property or one that is connected to an existing Blizzard IP. GeForce.com will keep you posted on the updates as they roll in.
