At GeForce.com we love unique gadgets that integrate NVIDIA’s technology, and boy has ASUS come up with a doozy. Introducing the ASUS All-In-One ET2400 PC, the first all-in-one computer to include a NVIDIA 3D Vision IR emitter, allowing you to play games and watch movies in ‘proper’ 3D without the need for a separate computer case and components, or a separate 3D Vision IR emitter.

We’ve recently seen the launch of flat panel displays with integrated 3D Vision IR emitters, but the ASUS ET2400 takes the concept that bit further, including the actual computer inside the display. And to ensure that 3D movies can be watched without additional fuss or the need for a dedicated Blu-Ray player, the ET2400 has a tray-operated Blu-Ray drive built into the screen’s surround. What’s more, the 24 inch screen is touch-sensitive, allowing you to use a range of unique touch-powered applications and command troops with only your finger in Ubisoft’s real-time strategy game, R.U.S.E..

The complete specification of the ET2400 PC is as follows:

  • 24 inch full HD multi-touch 16:9 120Hz display, resolution – 1920x1080
  • NVIDIA 3D Vision technology with embedded emitter and 3D active shutter glasses
  • Intel Core i7-400QM processor (1.73GHz with Turbo Boost up to 2.93GHz)
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M with 1.5GB of GDDR5 VRAM
  • 8GB of DDR3 RAM
  • 1TB 7200rpm Hard Drive
  • Blu-Ray Combo Drive
  • ASUS SonicMaster technology
  • Complimentary wireless keyboard and wireless mouse
  • Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Pricing and availability will be announced in the coming weeks, but in the meantime check out ASUS’ ET2400 tech trailer below:
