The deadmau5 Project: Episode 3
Over the last two episodes of this 3-part series, we’ve chronicled our collaboration with Electronic Music Producer Joel “deadmau5” Zimmerman to build the man THE Ultimate mau5 Spec Stream Lab. This has been an incredible once-a-lifetime journey for the NVIDIA GeForce Garage, working with Joel to design and craft five of the “sickest” most drool-worthy PC mods. Four of these have been themed after supercars from Joel’s own garage. NVIDIA Creative Director, Jules Mann, spearheaded the conceptual design, transitioning the most iconic visuals from each vehicle into visually captivating PC mod designs.
In episode 2 we saw the team collaborate with some of the most skilled modders in the world. Using both Mann’s designs and high performance components from our company partners, the team made the mau5 Spec Stream Lab vision into a reality. The result is five of the most eye-catching PC mods we’ve ever attempted, decked out from top to bottom with the most powerful components we could get our hands on.
In this third and final episode, the GeForce Garage is off to Canada! As the Ultimate mau5 Spec Stream Lab is shipped up North, a quintuplet of PC mods descends on deadmau5 at his home address in Toronto. We flew in and met up with Joel to re-assemble the systems for their big premier.
The moment of truth is here! It’s time to power-on each rig and watch this project come to life.
