GamesCom 2013: Day One Is Done, Check Out Our Video Recap
It’s Thursday and the doors have opened officially to the public, following a limited entry event on Wednesday. Where once there was marble floor and enough room to move, there is now an endless sea of people. The main boulevard, stretching the length of GamesCom, is now rammed to capacity with enthusiast gamers shuffling from hall to hall and stand to stand. The truly ‘hardcore’ gamers began waiting outside the event center in the early hours, wanting to ensure they were first in and able to get to their must-see titles without suffering through five-hour queues.
At the NVIDIA stand, attendees were treated to presentations of Batman: Arkham Origins, Call of Duty: Ghosts, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, PlanetSide 2, World of Tanks, World of Warplanes, and World of Warships, in addition to the Caseking Overclocking Experience, which introduced viewers to OC’ing and showed them how beneficial it can be to their gaming, giving them faster frame rates and all-round better performance. We’ll have more info on each in the coming days, so stay tuned to GeForce.com.
In the meantime, here’s Ben with a quick round up of the amazing things we’ve seen on our stage.
