Play Indie Shooter Revolver 360 RE:ACTOR Now on NVIDIA SHIELD
Fans of Indie games and arcade shooters will want to limber up their thumbs for Revolver360 RE:ACTOR, which is available to play right now on your NVIDIA SHIELD device.
A scrolling arcade-style shooter with a twist, Revolver360 comes to us from Japan where it enjoys a rabid cult following that’s now growing in the United States as well. The twist is a unique screen-rotation mechanism that lets you change your perspective on-the-fly to try to shift seemingly insurmountable odds to your favor.
And you’ll need all the help you can get as the overwhelming hordes of enemies are not just in front of, or behind you—they are all around you. By changing your viewpoint in the game you can bring elusive targets under your guns and survive to fight another level.
You’ve got your bullets, laser, and a screen-clearing EMP bomb to wreak havoc with. However, your wits are by far your greatest asset as you’ll need to figure out the best way to eliminate certain enemies and obstacles with the right combination of firepower and timing.
To play, just navigate to the GRID Games menu inside the SHIELD Hub app, select Revolver360 RE:ACTOR from the list of available titles, and start blasting away!
The GRID Games library now includes 36 games that you can play on-demand on your SHIELD device for free, and NVIDIA’s committed to adding new games every week. Use the hashtag #SHIELDTuesday on Twitter to stay up-to-date with new releases.
GRID is an on-demand gaming service that streams a library of popular games to SHIELD devices in high definition, with fluid frame rates and low latency. GRID is like Netflix for games, and it’s available exclusively to SHIELD owners in North America and most of Western Europe for free though June 30, 2015. Coverage will be expanded to include Germany and the Asia Pacific Region next year. Go here to learn more.
