Rig Spotlight: The Andromeda Initiative
With the recent launch of Mass Effect: Andromeda, we looked to the amazing duo of Jon Hansz and Ron Lee Christianson of Rip City Modders. When we last met, these two elite modders teamed up for a prize-winning Witcher 3 mod at PDXLAN 27 where they were just getting the hang of utilizing vacuum-forming and Magic Sculpt to bring their 3D concepts to life. In their latest work of art, they built upon that experience with this diorama of a mod titled The Andromeda Initiative, which features a soldier as he takes cover behind some crates- one that just so happens to be powered by a GeForce GTX 1080.
Watch the interview below to see what Ron & Jon had to do to bring The Andromeda Initiative to life.
