Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Announced

Bethesda has announced The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Releasing on November, 11, 2011, the highly-anticipated RPG will be the follow up to the company’s previous The Elder Scrolls game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
When Oblivion came out in 2006, the game garnered much critical praise. During the four years since, many gamers have clamored for a sequel without hearing a peep from Bethesda. “It’s exciting finally to announce the game,” said Todd Howard, Game Director on Skyrim. Having worked on Bethesda’s other highly-successful franchise Fallout 3 for the past couple of years, Howard added, “We’ve been working for many years on Skyrim and the technology behind it. A new Elder Scrolls game has been a long time coming, and we can’t wait to show it off.”
Coupled with the game’s announcement is a teaser trailer for the game. While the trailer does not showcase any in-game footage, the video does assert that dragons will emerge in the world and become a big menacing threat in the game.
