At GamesCom 2013 we’ve been showing Europe the NVIDIA SHIELD for the very first time. Enthusiast gamers who’ve read the excellent North American reviews have been flocking to our stand to try the gaming and entertainment portable for themselves, and plenty of others have just discovered it, getting their first look at the handheld on the show floor.

The second day of GamesCom 2013 has concluded. We’ve made more announcements, played host to thousands upon thousands of gamers, shown off the latest games and tech, and given away bazillions of t-shirts.
The first day of GamesCom is a wrap. The public have swarmed the convention center, flocking to their favorite games and stands, one of which was NVIDIA’s. Jam-packed all day long, thousands of gamers watched presentations about GeForce GTX, SHIELD, and some of the year’s biggest games, and queued to play PC versions of Splinter Cell Blacklist and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
